Every texture page shows the real pixels on real blocks. Every skin page shows the outfit from the front and the back. Every add-on page shows what you craft and what it does.

We tried it in the game first

Every texture pack and skin was imported into Minecraft on a phone and looked at before it was listed. Every add-on was loaded into Minecraft first, and its page says which features we have also played with in a world.

No experimental features

Nothing here needs an experimental toggle. Texture packs and skins are plain packs. Add-ons use only the parts of the game that stay put between updates.

Questions people ask first

Does it work on my phone or tablet?
These packs are for Minecraft Bedrock, the version on phones, tablets, consoles and Windows. We check each one on an Android phone; the page says which version of the game. iPhone and iPad use the same packs, but we have not checked them there yet.
Do I need to turn on experimental features?
No. Nothing here needs an experimental toggle.
How do I install a pack?
Download it on the device that has Minecraft, then open the file and Minecraft imports it. Texture packs go under Resource Packs in your world, or under Global Resources in Settings to use them everywhere. Skins appear in the Dressing Room. Add-ons go under Behavior Packs in your world.
Will add-ons turn off achievements?
Yes. Minecraft turns off achievements in any world with a behavior pack on, and warns you when you add one. Texture packs and skins do not affect achievements.
What does it cost?
Everything on this site is free to download today. An iPhone and iPad app with a subscription is planned; nothing is sold here.
Can I use these in videos or on my server?
Yes. Play with them, record them, share your world. Modchest is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
